Default AP2 V1 wheels ebay?

I saw a set of AP2 V1 wheels. I prefer these than the 06+ stock wheels. Anyone have any experience with these? New Set of 4 Replacement 17" Alloy Wheels Rims for 2000-2009 Honda S2000 eBay I'm assuming honda center caps would fit.

I used oem replicas in between wheels and they worked and looked fine. I probably wouldn't trust hitting a pot hole with them tho.

They work fine in my experience, but I've not seen any reports if they will survive misuse any differently than OEM wheels. More than likely they will fail more readily than OEM if abused.

Gotcha, roads around where I live are horrible. I'd probably just gotta crawl around if I seen them big potholes.

I'd repair/refinish my OEM AP2V2 wheels before buying these. But at $400/set it's probably worth a chance if you don't have OEM wheels on your car. Most certainly PRC-made.

A quality refinish of OEM will cost around $100-125 per wheel, so the price will be the same in the end (though the OP indicated that he would rather not run the AP2v2 rims). They will definitely be made in China. You might try contact the seller to see if they have any refinished OEM in stock as they usually sell both, though they run out of the OEM refinishes rather quickly.

Some company bought the OEM wheel molds and is reproducing the wheels. I wonder if the casting are to OEM specs. Best of luck with the wheels. Buy inexpensive brand new wheels and what do you get. The original wheels are $500 each corner. Just asking.

Id buy them. I've never seen any bad reviews on the OE replicas. Probably still a low pressure casting like other cheaper wheels out there. My TR c3s are low pressure casted and they handle all the abuse I throw at them.

Interesting I found this article about OEM replica wheels. Are Replica Wheels Really as Safe as OEM Wheels?
