Default AP2 wheels

Hi Guys

Sorry for the real Noob question but I know nothing about the Honda S2000.

My Dad has a 2003 S2000 with AP1 wheels, He would like the AP2 wheels but he heard somewhere that they may not fit is this correct ?

Many Thanks

Dobbsy

They fit fine. No issues.

The basic car is the same. Nothing different that would prevent wheel swap. Same body, just different bumpers. Same brakes. Same front suspension, slightly different rear suspension, but nothing that would effect wheel fitment.

With OEM-spec tires the 16" and 17" wheels/tires are the same diameter as the 17" use lower profile tires. This produces stiffer sidewalls which aids handling. As noted these just bolt on with no concerns. Finding a good set of OEM 17" wheels is the challenge. There are 3 versions. Aftermarket wheels all seem to be too small (width) or require modifying the body work.

The ap2 wheels are 17" and there is a much bigger set of tire choices available for 17" wheels which is another reason to make the change.

You can run 215/45R17 front and 245/40R17 rear no problems with those wheels on your car. If I can help with tire options let me know.

I have AP2V1's on my 03 AP1. They were a fantastic upgrade.

I'd prefer to run 225/45 and 255/40 tires...but that's me.
