Curious why you chose to mask off the valve stems rather than remove them. New ones are cheap.

If this is the super glossy almost crome looking paint then do not use clear on it. I have used that kind of paint before and tried to clear it and it turns the horrible dull color and you will have to completely redo the entire thing. Not really sure what you could put on them that would protect it. Maybe some coats of wax or soemthing? Again not really sure. They look nice though.

You could try these: http://www.iowa80.com/DirectionsWEB/...r+1-3%2F8%22+H

A set of rims that I bought from Tire Rack came with chrome ones like that, and they look pretty good.

Yeah I figured there was some kind of built in clear because it is a very high gloss paint. I sprayed the gold and some clear on a peice of scrap metal and it didn't completely ruin the shade of gold. I am however concerned about how they will hold up. So I am going to do about 2 or 3 more coats of paint on em for safe measure. As for the valve caps you posted. Those things are balled as hell but I don't know if i wanna spend 50 fish on em. Might get some eBay one or something. But thanks to everyone who liked the wheels.

thanks again haha but yeah I am really happy (suprised) they came out the way they did. I also picked up some anodized blue oem style lugs from DRFlickner to go with the gold, cant wait to put them on. BTW if you want some colored oem lugs, get them from DRF. These look amazing and for 25 shipped, I couldnt believe the quality. Anyways, in regards to the valve stem cover...you guys think I shoud go with blue to match the lugs or gold to blend in the with the wheels, or keep them the gaudy flat black? lemme kno
