Are you talking about with stock stagger? 17x7 front and 17x8.5 rear? or 4 rears?

The rear works no problem and Im sure you could physically bulge a 255/40 on a 7" wheel but why? Im 99% positive it would feel, look, and handle like garbage. If you want to run a little wider than stock go for 225/45/17 up front with 255/40/17 in the rear. Just my .02

You could also run 235 on a pair of ap2v2 rears up front, and mount the 255 in the back to maintain the stagger setup if you want to remain staggered.

I have seen 235 on the ap2v2 front, its doable. But 225/45 or 225/40 on the front is your best choice.
