Axis Question?
The handling will be neutral? Are you kidding me?!?
How many track days on that setup? How many autocrosses?
Brave? I don't get that. I'm just trying to keep someone from making a mistake based upon bad information.
Give me about 2 minutes of canyon running in a car with 19x8 225/40s lowered 1" and I will guarantee that I'll have the fronts rubbing frequently.

...but dont expect to be doing canyon runs at ridiculous speeds.
I had them on the car, axis, 19 inch, mods, with an eibach pro kit. no rubbing. I'm not trying to argue with you though. I'm just telling you what I've done from experience.
quoting you:
"the handling will be neutral"
That is just plain
If you drive under the speed limit on smooth roads - no rubbing. If you drive this car as intended - it will rub.
Nobody who is truly interested in performance should be running 19"s on an S2000 anyway. I like my 18's for the street blinging but have a set of 17"s with R compounds for autocross and the occaisional track day.

Secondly, I only added to my first post, I never changed anything.
Third, you want performance, stay with a 16 or 17 inch wheel. If you want to be "Blingin" as you say, put a set of 19's on. I've had 2 S2000's, Yes I have 2 sets of 16's, a set of 18's and 2 sets of 19's for my car. I've tried all kinds of setups.
As far as the Mods go, yeah they work, it looks kind of wierd cause you have two lips that are the same size on a car that calls for a staggered setup. I never said I reccomend doing it. I said it works. I also said I wasnt trying to argue with you, so quit it with the little
icon. I'll try to find pictures of my old car with the Mods on it. so you can see how it looks. I live in San Diego, we have some F'd up streets and freeways here. I never rubbed.
I say
because a 19" non-staggered setup will *not* be neutral.
It will be prone to some serious oversteer when pushed hard. Normal cars are not prone to oversteer. Most cars have moderate to severe understeer from the factory.
I've had many setups as well. I'm not the fastest guy out there but me and my S2000 are the WWSCC Improved A champions for 2004 so I do know a little bit about understeer, oversteer and neutral handling.
One more time: to say that a non-staggered 19" setup will be neutral is just bullsh1t.
Period. Not arguing - just stating a fact.
