I think they are nice looking rims. They just don't fit the S2000. They'll rub even at stock height under certain driving conditions. Back to the store they should go.

Thumbs up

What is the weight of these wheels?
What is the mass moment of inertia (MMI) of the wheels?

MMI is a better way of determining the effect of different wheel setups on QT/HP delivery to the ground.

Did you consider going with the 18x7.5 front and 18X8.5 rear with appropriate tires to get them to fit properly.

I have a concern with the hollow spokes is there provisions to allow water that might collect in these holes to drain out?

Example of problem would be after a wash some remaining dirty soap/water would be in the tube and would drain out when the car is moved (dirtying what you just washed) or worse the water does not fully drain/water gets in the hollow area during driving causing an imbalance in the rim during driving.

Did you consider going with a 255/35-18 on the rears to see if the rubber still rubs the fender.

Based on what I have seen here I am thinking of going with
18X7.5 +?? 255/40-18 front
18X8.5 +45 255/35-18 Rear

Unless some one has has issues witht this setup or will the 255/35-18 on the 18X9.5 will actually work on a MY04 with 1.5 inch drop.

After some extended email traffic I was able to get the following info

Reverb
18X7.5 +42 19 lbs
18X8.5 +45 20lbs
18x9.5 +55 23lbs

Hiro
18x8.5 +45 23lbs
19x8.5 +45 26lbs
19x9.5 +55 27lbs

You don't need to take them, back just run 255/40 front and 255/35 rear and all problems should be solved.

My plan after today is going to be the Hiros 18x8.5 225/40-18 and 19x9.5 255/35-19 with an inline yellow box to compensate for the additional 1.2inches added over stock diameter on the rear. Staggered both in with and diameter.

wow love that aggresive stance, and the reverb definitely looks good. I have about the same kind of stance with my ASA AR1's. 18x9 +45

I wish I had seen this post earlier. Never really look in this section when I am on. Anyway, I have black Axis reverbs on my 2001 Spa. The place that sold them to me told me they were sending me 18x8 in the front with a 45mm offset and a 225/40/18 tire. For the rear they told me they were gonna send 18x9.5 with a 55mm offset and a 255/35/18. When I put them on and drove it down the road sure enough it scrapped. I bought a motorcycle like a day later and haven't driven the car scince. I think if I had a 215 in front and a 245 in back it would do the trick. I am getting rid of my bike this year and putting the car back on the road. I might purchase some new wheels. I can't wait to see the inside of the rim to look for the offsets. If anyone might have an interest in buying some black reverbs when I find out the wheel specs please let me know they will be pritty cheap.
