Default BBS LM Question

Ok, so I may finally drop the cash on these Baller-ific wheels. My only question is why does it seem that everyone buys the 18 inchers and not the 17s? Simply for wider tires? Also I that that these were forged but they seem heavy to be a forged wheel (atleast from what I can tell from the weights the tire rack has listed) Any opinons on these wheels and a good tire width to run on the 17s?

Oh and Jim, when will the front sizes in 17 inch be availible? And are they availible with the gold face?

i am total fan of 17' wheels because lighter and i believe that they perform better....

BUT i were to get LMs, btw they are one of the best looking wheels...
i would only get 18's...they look so damn good. dont get 17's if you going with LMs.

here are some pics of Importsports.

Damn, that looks sexy. I've always just been so against getting the largest diameter wheel availible... Hhmm... I really do love the LMs though and their offsets work great with the S.

The LM would only be available in silver. The do fit the car well and I have sold them the most with 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 rear. They will fill up the wheel well more than stock and quality is second to none.
They are a fully forged multi piece wheel.
If I can help let me know.

Are those 18's on the black S above? What are the sizes of those and will they require any modifications in order for them not to rub? Anybody know how much the car in the pic was lowered as well? I am very interested in the wheel. Looks sweet on black, but mine is silverstone and I'm not sure about them on mine.

Thanks,

Jon

I have 17" LMs on my S (see sig for pics). Due to their offset, you can't run wider tires on the 18" LMs than on the 17", so there's no difference on how much rubber you can put down. It just comes down to a personal preference of looks. I'm currently running 245s in the rear, but will be switching to 255s once my current tires wear out.

WOW!!! From all of the pics that I have seen on this site, yours takes the cake. Your setup is sweet. You might have just sold me on it. I did not notice if you have a camber adjustment kit or not? I am just not sold on the look of them on silverstone? Sweet ride!!!!

Thanks,

Jon
