So I just saw an JDM S2000 Type V on j-garage.com for sale. It had 18" BBS RG-R wheels in silver with a BBS Red Center Cap with Gold Lettering. So I looked up the number to BBS of America and called, spoke to John who informed me that indeed BBS of America has started to carry the 70MM BBS Red Center Cap with Gold Lettering for the RG-R and LM wheels. The part number is 5624099 and list price is $13 per. He told me that TireRack has them on backorder and to phone in my order.

I called TireRack but was told that they do not stock this and have no plans to offer this in the future.

I would like to petition TireRack to please offer this product. I think this will be a popular option for S2000 owners and others as well.

To each his/her own, but the black/gold center caps are some of the best I've seen on any wheel.

 

I personally like the black cap, but I can see how the red cap might match a particular car.

 

You're not exactly helping my cause here...

I'm just requesting that TireRack offer the red center caps as an option, not to replace the standard black ones.

If offered I would definitely get a set for my RG-R's on my GPW S2000.

 

I have the Black Silver. Why won't BBS NA sell them to you?

 

I asked... they don't sell to the public anymore, which is weird because I got a set of carbon fiber/silver center caps for my 19" LM's from them some months ago.

I tried a few wheel places locally, but no one knows WTF I'm talking about.
