Default Best value light wheels?

Hey guys,

I'm searching for wheels that are lighter than our stock rims. I know Tirerack used to carry SSR-Comp which are fairly cheap but they don't have them anymore. Volks and Prodrive make forged light wheels but they usually cost $500 a piece. Any other brand/model suggestion? Or, what Volks model is cheap and light? Style is not really my concern ( these are going to be my track wheels) Please don't say buy used rims, I had bad experience purchasing wheels that are used. Thanks.

I have had good luck with used, but that's besides the point.

Why not a set of Rotas?

Kosei K1-TS is light, but only comes in 17". They have them at Tirerack. I think they are 13,15 lbs for front and rear, and go for $200 and $230 for the front and rear, respectively.

Thanks for the links. Not a ton of options in the way of staggered setup.
