Default Big Problem!!!

I just got in my LE37T's (18x7.5 +48 fronts, 18x8.5 +50 rears) and I think I will have a problem lowering my car with the tires I have on them. I have Bridgestone S-03's (225/40/18 fronts and 255/35/18 rears) and they seem to be flush with the fenders front and rear. I thought the fronts would be able to tuck under the fender but that doesn't look likely. Any reccomendations on tires and sizes that will allow me to lower my car without worrying about rubbing?

Thanks,
Mark

p.s. my tires have about 50 miles on them, anybody want them?

I beleive whenver you lower your car that the camber will go negative therefore the wheels will tuck.

No! When you lower your car, you're suppose to get a computerized 4-wheel alignment which will bring the camber back to stock! Otherwise, you'll wear out the insides of the tires.

Nothing you can really do. Your problem is the combination of low offset and bulky tires. I think the SO-3's are pretty bulky sidewalls. I have the same problem.
You just can't lower it that much! Simple as that. I have about 1.5 finger gap between the top of the tire and fender, and it still rubs on very hard actions. That's the lowest I can go without rubbing all the time.
You might try more narrow tires, 215/40 front and 245/35 rear?

One thing to note here, Tirerack claims that their setup doesn't rub, even if lowered! And they claim they'll take it back if it does. Check with Jim to see what he can do for you.
