Default Buying new wheels... Which of these?

Enkei NT03+M (staggered diameters)
17x7.5 (+48) front
18x8.5 (+38) rear

Enkei RS+M
17x7.0 (+45) front
17x8.5 (+30) or 17x8.0 (+45) rear

Are those offsets OK for those sizes? Also, opinions on staggered diameters?

I think the RS + M ones are better looking but I have a stock S2000.

My S2000 is stock, as well... From the outside, at least.

Either way, I like the NT03 better - they look like the Mugen wheels (that don't fit on S2000s ). But the RS+M's look like JDM wheels...

Oh well, my biggest concern is fitment (and handling/balance issues with staggered 17/18 wheels).

Sorry Alex -

The first ones look nice but that rear offset is too low. The 2nd ones *might* work in the 7" and 8" widths.

Hurry up and change to avatar #4!

Dayum! That's just so hot...

Thanks, Alex!

I don't know this guy - but for a good looking set of rims with good fitment - I'd be looking at this pretty hard...

I don't like the CE28s that much (I like a little bling ) but the LE's with the polished lip are far less common and look good IMO. They are also pretty light.

I don't have any experience with staggered diameters on our car but my swag would be that if you like the look and keep the diameter of the wheel/tire combo the same you should be o.k.

Good deal, but not a big fan of the looks...

I'll stick with my Spoon wheels for now.

I understand completely on the looks... I'd like them a lot more if they got rid of the extra set of holes...

I think the car looks very mean... purposeful with the Spoon wheels.

The rims above would be a step down, IMO.

Actually, my Spoon wheels only look good* from up close, when you can tell what they are. From far away, the just look like ricer hubcaps.

Partly why I wanna 'upgrade' to the Enkeis. They are, however, very light - the 17x8.5 weighs in at only 17lbs. It looks like it wasn't meant to be, though - offsets don't work.

Thanks anyway.
