Default Calling ANyone who bought NEW 3piece BBS Wheels:

Just picked up a set of BBS by Stern Gold label that were stored BNIB since 1996/7. The tools came with to remove center caps and what not, but my problem is:

The 3-piece rims by BBS tend to have this awesome hidden valve stem system where one of the rivets is actually a screw that hides the valve stem.

In order to actually put air in the tires, you need this adapter from BBS:

I am wondering if that is supposed to come with the rims when you buy them. Since I did not get them I wanted to ask the seller for them, or to reimburse me if he was supposed to provide them. I paid a LOT of money for these things.

Anyone know the answer?

Here are the wheels i bought:

I have no idea where to get that fitting, I am only posting to let you know I am extremely jealous of your purchase. Awesome wheels. Offering some industry information for you, that is that I do know you can use a rubber tipped blowgun to put air into a valve stem, you just have to position it right and should have no issue filling up the wheels with tires mounted. That's how I'd do in your situation.

Thanks for the reply. I know I didn't need to put the pic of the wheels I got in the post, but I couldn't help but brag.

I actually have a source to buy those stems/valves. I just wanted to know if I should have gotten them standard with "new" wheels. They are only 50 bucks if I buy them, but I figured someone here who bought new BBS 3/pc wheels would know if they are "standard" or not.

There is one more set on Ebay if you search BBS Stern just so you know. The last set he has is a square set at 17x8 +42. He wants 2000 puls 180 shipping, but will negotiate if you call him. I called and worked out a deal off of ebay for 1750 shipped for my 17x8 and 17x9 combo. He will taje less for the square set I would bet.

Cannot believe the guy bought 4 sets and put them in storage for 15 years. Epic.
