Need some help
Hey guys I'm looking into purchasing 4 rear ap2 v.1 wheels. I remember some conversation about something needing to be done to the rear wheels in order to get them to work on the fronts? I was just wondering what that was, and approximately how much it would cost to get it done?
I run the set-up you are looking for on my S. You need to machine the hub of two of the rear wheels to fit on the front hubs. I do not recall the number off the top of my head.... 72mm maybe
Any machine shop can do that for you and shouldn't cost you more then an hour or so of shop time (<$100)
I would also recommend re-visiting the alignment after installing and adjusting ride height. I ran an aggressive alignment with the staggered set-up and when I switched the car over to the non-staggered set up it has way more grip up front and the rear started to feel uneasy when not even pushing it.

I think it is deeper then 5mm... But by doing that you also loose the hubcentric feature used on the factory wheels to center them, the lugs hold the wheel on not center it.
But if you space the front out anyways I can promise that you will wreck the fender if you are lowered and not careful/roll the fender. I did it just running 255s and aggressive front camber, -2.5 without a spacer, but I was pretty low at the time. You can get away with not rolling the fender with a mild drop and good alignment....
