So i've decided to add some negative camber to both my front and rear wheel. I have a my08 and i was wondering if i can go up to -3.0 on the stock camber?

 

Is your suspension stock? If so then no.

 

u should be able to! im runnin -3.5 in the rear, it doesnt matter how low u are, theres room for negative in the adjusters.

 

the lower the car is the more camber you can get out of the stock adjusters

 

If was under the impression that by using a stock suspension/springs combo we could only give as much as 1.7-2.0 in the front and 1.9-2.2 (?) in the rear. (numbers are not absolute but the range is somewhere around there)

Am i way off here?

Sure it is. Adjustable double wishbones.

 

IIRC thats if the car is at stock height. When you lower it geometry changes and you can add more camber

 

Yup, i was refering to totaly stock settings since iluvmys2000 havent replied yet.

My comment was mostly about s2k dre's post about being able to -3.0 camber on stock suspension.

 

Why??? Your tires will last 1/10 as long. Then you'll end up buying crappy tires negating any benefit of running slight more camber.
