Default Can I lower on this wheel offset

Hi. i asked this on the UK site and had a few replies but thought I should have posted here to get more experience.

I have 17in 7.5in wide wheels. The offset is ET42 (low I know). I use 235/40/17 on the rear and 215/45/17 on the front.

I was looking at installing the eibach pro lowering springs.

Was hoping someone can advise if I would need arch work or would it be ok? To me it looks like the wheels stick out too much but I'm hoping someone here can better advise.

Thanks for all the help.

How much camber are you looking to run? A long while back, I ran 17x8+45 in the front on Tein S-tech lowering springs, and I believe I maxed out the camber around -1.9 to -2.1. With 225's, I don't think I experienced any rubbing in the front, but I did snag a fender tab by going up a driveway in a hurry.

Hi nitewing. Thanks for replying. I'm just looking to run the normal UK geo settings. Did you have to max out camber to avoid rubbing?
