Default Cant decide on these damn tire sizes

I'm looking to buy a new set of tires for this season. I'm pretty set on Direzza Sport Z1 starspecs again as I had good luck on HPDEs last summer.

Anyway, I can't decide what sizes to buy.

Currently, I have 225/45R17 up front and 255/40R17 out back.

I'm thinking maybe 235/40 or 235/45 for the front. The 235/40 will be pretty short. The 235/45 will be pretty tall. 245/40s will be a little wide.

I kinda wanted to go wider up front...but I guess it's not super important.

Does anyone have pictures of their cars on 235/40s up front and 255/40s out back? Or 235/45s up front and 255/40s out back?

I also know that Dunlop has new sizing with 265/40R17, which would work great with 235/45R17. Does that look too tall? Too beefy? Anyone have these sizes?

My wheel specs are 17X7.5 +45F and 17X9+45R.

Any help and lots of pics would be appreciated lol.

235/40 is the obvious choice. Less likely to rub if you have lowish offsets, and it looks much better to have the fronts slightly smaller in diameter than the rears than to have them BIGGER.

235/40-17 Star Spec is actually only 0.1" taller at 24.5" than the OEM 215/45-17 StarSpec (24.6").

The 235/45-17s are 25.4" in diameter, which is the same as the new 265/40-17s. So if you do go with the 265s, that might direct you more to the 235/45s. Personally, I'd *still* go with the 235/40 fronts. Or 245/40s

That's weird that the 235/40 starspec is taller than 215/45s. If u do the calculations, u get 24.4" for 235/40 and 24.61 on the 215/45s

Oops, meant to say the 235/40 starspec (at 24.5") is only .1" *shorter* than the 215/45 starspec (24.6").

i think that if you are lowered, or have aggressive offsets the 235/40 would make sense. neither size will have any bad affect on the abs.
