Default HELP! Is 235/45 front 255/40 bad?

I have 17x8.5 rim with a 54+ offset and I'd like to run 235/45 in the front and 255/40 in the back, so I placed m order for 17/45/235 front and 17/40/255 rear. I got a call from tire rack stating that the front tire will be half an inch taller than the rear. What are my options. Please help!!!

should I got 17/40/225 in the front on a 17x 8.5" rim or should I go 17/40/245?

Will this rub?

Thanks guys

Just get the 245/40 up front. I think the 225/45 would be a little stretched on a 8.5" wide wheel.

235/40-17 would be a better option than 235/45-17. Slightly shorter than stock rather than slightly taller. Better tire clearance, better look IMO.

You would be better height wise to go with the 225/45R17 on the front. With the 235/45R17 on the front you are raising the height 4/10". It may be enough to throw off the anti lock brakes.
You should have entered my name on the order and I would have explained why and also given you all the options.
