cool, thanks for the info guys. I did a quick google image search, and I can live with a gap like that for a little while, while I decide on my suspension.

I will be trying a 245 front and 285 rear for starters. these will fit and give me an idea as to how the wheel/tire sits in the well, and if a fender roll is needed, then I can have my buddy check it out, and see what he thinks.

also, I will be attending autocross driving school with stock wheel/tire that's on there now. car won't see much of road use as is. gives me time to sort things out and spend $$$ wisely, I think.

update:

spoke to Wray through e-mail and ended up placing an order for a set of CCW Classics full polish in 18x9.5 et57 fronts and 18x11 et64 rears with 245/35/18 front and 285/30/18 rear rubber.

figured ordering wheels and tires from CCW and they will come mounted and balanced will save me time from buying tires and getting them shipped, then making time to drop everything off at a shop and picking up, and so on. saving me a lot of headache for sure.

I went with these tires per yours and Wray's recommendation since I don't want to, initially, modify/roll fenders. I will see how they sit, especially after suspension install, and then decide if I want more tire/fender roll.

thanks a lot guys! I can't wait!

I don't know. I'm sure they will forward you do the department that can help you out though.

also, keep in mind, that places like Rotiform and Memoryfab can make you ALMOST anything you want as long as the face of the wheel is in good condition. or make you a completely custom wheel. step up your 16-17" wheel to 18-19", and so on.

also, places like Tunershop, sell BBS barrels, lips, and hardware, and even used BBS hardware is always in high demand. so buy a set of LM's in non-aggressive sizes, take apart, sell what you don't need.

until very last minute I was debating if I wanted centers in color, because a satin black or yellow centers would be just awesome on the red car, but at the end, nothing beats a highly polished center. although I'm sure that can be changed.

thanks a lot guys.

I have a local shop that does track prep for CCA clubs (BMW, Porsche, whatever), and they do alignments/corner weighing etc. and my buddy's shop can give me an awesome deal on a set of ISC coilovers that 3 local guys have ran in last 2-3 years and love them. I think I'll be giving this suspension a shot. plenty of time to plan!

I hope they told you that you WILL need to roll the rear fenders to accommodate your 11" +64 with 285.

If you went with say a 10.5 +72 with 285 you would not need to roll as it just clears the lip. But your well into the lip area at roughly 22mm more aggressive (take away 5mm for the added tire stretch/clearance on 11") Your set up choice looks better, so good move on getting it, just wanted to make sure you knew what you were stepping into since your response seem contrary to this.

You’re running real close to the outer fender up front as well. Keep a close eye on that if you were not planning on rolling this either. I would have kept the same offset but stuck with a 9"/245 to avoid complication. The lower you go the more issue you will have on outer fender. Strangely enough you gain clearance on the inner control arm though so you could go an even higher offset at 9.5 to help with out fender clearance. Got to know all the nuances when you’re running these kind of aggressive widths.

I got this, thanks buddy! I'll get my suspension figured out and go from there. not looking for slammed look at all. I also changed my mind on rolling fenders, I'll have someone local do them for me.

whoever will be doing alignment and adjusting height, I'll explain what I need, then see what needs to be done with fenders.
