stock ap2 is 17"x8.5 so i dont know if the 8 will look good.

stock ap2 is 17x7 front 17x8.5 rear... the reason you stagger is for the wider tires in the rear... although you can do stagger tires on non staggered wheels but not really recommended

this is a bolt pattern that 93-04 subaru impreza uses most commonly

 

You can make the wheel work. You would need centering rings for the front and rear. You can still stagger them with tires.
