Default CE28 and Spoon Calipers

Hi,

I am currently running 17" Time attack CE28 on my car (7.5" +50, 9" +63). I am intererested in the Spoon Calipers but I will obviously need spacers. My research indicates that I need a 10mm spacer for the wheels to clear the brakes. Is this correct?

Also, by adding 10mm spacers, will I have any fender clearance issues? I am currently lowered ~1" all around on Tein S-techs.

Thanks!

adding a 10mm spacer would make it a 17x7.5 +40 essentially.. I'm not really sure if it will clear or not.. IIRC the ce28's spokes have a flat backside (similar to my old work XD9's) and with my Works, I had to use a 15mm spacer to make it a 17x7.5 +35 to make it clear the Rotora BBK. Keep in mind that adding a 15mm spacer drastically changes the look of the front end and that your 17x9 +63's may look a bit "sunk-in" compared to the fronts.

+40 ought to clear the calipers.

So with a 10mm or a 15mm spacer, I wont have any issue with the fenders right?

17x7.5 +35 will stick out of the front fender a little bit. what size tires are you running up front? I had 225's on with -2.3

Currently, I am lowered ~1" all around and have 225's up front. So I guess with proper camber, I shouldn't rub too much?

I guess the question now is, if I went with 15mm in the rear as well, would I have issues with the fender?

17*7.5 +43mm offset plus 3mm spcaer will clear. If you have 17*7.5 +50 then you will need 15mm spacer to clear.

Are you sure 15mm not 10mm?

I am pretty sure 10mm will do for the 17x7.5" +50 CE28n

What about 17x8 +44 ce28? My math says it should work without spacers, but I could be wrong.
