Default Center Bore

I recently came across some old BBS RS wheels at a very low price

The major concern: The center bore of the BBS wheels are 60mm, and the Honda (front) center bore is 70.1 mm

My question: Should I have the wheels bored to 70.1? Or should I have them bored over that to, say 73 mm (the common a/m wheel bore size) and use a hubcentric spacer?

Or would boring the wheel to exactly 70.1 mm eliminate the need for hubcentric rings?

Sorry, my knowledge on this issue is sub par.

Bore the wheel to exactly 70.1mm. You would not need a hubcentric ring and the more material you remove the weaker the wheel will get. There is no reason to go bigger unless you know you will be using the wheel on a car with a larger wheel bore in the future which is highly unlikely.

Much appreciated.

Im going to assume your loyal membership and high post count makes you a credible source.

Looks like I will have the fronts bored to exactly 70.1 and the rears 64.1

Actually, my dad is the lead machinist at a publicly traded pump company called Flowserve, so I have access to this resource for free
