Change of Tires
Hey guys. Was looking on tirerack for new tires.Any one tried the Continental ExtremeContact DWS?(was leaning toward this tire for front and rear).Any other suggestions for good treadwear with performance?
Unless your driving in light snow don't bother. They are all-season tires so they are not going to have that good of grip in the dry. THe DW (not DWS) is a great summer tire though. Awesome in the rain, comfy and grippy, only downside is they are not as responsive as some of the competition.
Like I said, the Continental ExtremeContact DW is a great DD performance tire... reasonable price, awesome wet performanc, very very good dry performance and they ride very nicely.
The Bridgestone RE760 Sport is another good DD tire as is the Michelin PSS (EXPENSIVE)
I have heard decent things about the Sumitomo, but the DUnlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec is a significantly better tire in that class while still being very reasonably priced.

For the best bang for the buck I would look at a tire like the Hankook V12, Sumitomo HTRZ III and the Conti Extreme DW. All of these tires are very good handling in wet and dry with good ride quality and they are on the lower end price wise.
If I can help let me know.

Just received my RE-70s(rears) for my CR today. Thanks to everyone @ Tire Rack for super fast delivery!
My front tires are still in good shape but I'm sure I'll be buying all four corners by the fall of next year.
