I'm about to run out of serious tread and I was wondering if
anybody has used or heard of potenza RE960 pole positions. I can't
seem to find the RE050A pole positions.

I want to stay as close to OEM spec as possible but I do put a lot
of highway miles, over 2000 a month so I need some longer lasting ones.

If anybody can provide some quick advice please share. Thanks!

 

i have the RE960s. whether or not you'll like them is entirely dependant on what you're looking for. they're basically the best all weather tires you can buy...great in the rain. long treadlife (supposedly, i'm only about 3k miles in on mine.) not the best handling, the quickest turn in response. if you're looking for a better than decent handling, excellent in any weather, long lasting tire these will serve you well. oh they're also relatively expensive, but that shouldn't be an issue, because odds are they'll last twice as long as the 30% cheaper tires.
