Default chrome stock wheels

i'm thinking of wheels and i just can't move away from my ap2 v1 wheels...so i think i either want to chrome them or finish them in a glossy red...possibly gunmetal. i know it's possible, but does anyone have pics of it? (i have a 2005 sebring silver with red seats and door leather, all else is black ) what do you guys think?

Gunmetal

Glossy red... maybe on a car with an obvious color scheme. But glossy colors other than black or white usually look terrible.

Please do not put chrome on an S2000. If you want chrome rims go buy a caddy and fill every square inch of usable space with subwoofers and lcd screens.

chrome rims on an s2k doesn't look right. I saw one red s2k that had chrome ap2v1 rims and it didn't look good at all, imo. gunmetal on the other hand looks clean
found it

Don't listen to 'em. Nothing wrong with chrome...some people love them, some people don't care for them. I like 'em. Look at the optional chrome rims on a ZR1. Not bad.

Not sure how good they would look on silverstone, though. Not saying they wouldn't work, just not sure. Not like on a BB or FR. Maybe gunmetal.

Wow, what's worse? Chrome stockers, or the Veilside kit with Quad tips???

Or that fact that he's all of the above @ stock height.

Here is a pic of glossy red powdercoated wheels. Wrong color, wrong car (actually right car for many of us) but it may help.

Instead of chrome, go for something that's still shiny but not too garish: polished finish.

i do like the idea of chrome or just a high gloss polish. i kind of wonder which is a little more durable.

EDIT: i drive a silverstone too and i dont think id do chrome on that. it might just "blend in" too much. but a polished face or maybe even just the smooth faces of the wheels
