if ur serious about this dont buy one r-comp over the other just because of aesthetics. do some research and find one that will fit what u want. all u need is a white paint marker from home depot and u can make the letters white urself.

btw dont know how cost affective/safe in wet it is to ride on r-comps daily. ur better off getting a decent summer tire. and u can still color in ur letters.

Well the reason I picked the falken tire is after having multiple different comp r tires.others were alot better in grip during dry but nothing beat these in the wet as far as the comp r tire that I've drove on personally. Also the white letters was just a plus at the time I thought it looked cool.not hype on needing it that bad lol.but if I could have it again I would.they're a pricey tire but I can deal with that for the enjoyment I get out of the car

I agree. Go with a tire like the Bridgestone RE11 or the Dunlop Star Spec. They are as close to an R compound for the street as you can get. They are going to give you more than enough performance and they are going to be a lot better in the wet and last longer. You are still going to have to paint the tire if you want the white letters.
If I can help let me know.

Jim!right on man.do y'all sell any dot comp r tires on tirerack? My phone isn't loading fast today so I'm not trying many sites lol. But like I said I am not caring about time lasting over performance but if money starts shying up I was going to go with the star specs. Thanks man!

I track my car on star specs. If you are pushing a tire as capable as the Z1SS so hard on the street that you feel that the tire is inadequate, you need to get off the road.

I know that isn't the advice you are looking for, but needing a R-Comp for daily driving is absurd.
