Default Confusion! Fitment Size Help

I have read the forums and the fitments and everything has me confused, still. (I have tried searching for the answer but everything is still unclear). I would just like an answer.

For an Ap1, Would 18x8 +40 (fronts) and 18x9 +45 (rears) fit without fender beings rolled / pulled?
If that doesnt fit, what sizing would fit, and what would YOU recommend?

itll be on coils in the future, but wheels are coming first.

No. There are a lot of factors, but generally speaking you need +50 or higher if you don't want to do any fender work. If you want a fitment even close to flush then you need to roll the fenders, no way around it.

Just think of it this way, anything below +45/+50 will need fender work, especially if you are lowered. the lower you go on the offset, the more fender work and negative camber you'll need...these cars weren't designed to have a low offset.

A lot can be done with narrower tires and negative camber but the offsets you mention are going to need some finder work as well.

Yes, WITH rolled fenders. Assuming you run proper stock size diameter tires, there will be no difference between the 18" and 17" setup as far as fender clearance. The stock alignment already has "negative camber", it's just matter of how much you want for the handling/tire wear tradeoff. I'd suggest just reading everything you can before buying anything.
