I was just wondering what you guys think of the Contisport2. I am looking for a bit stickier tire. So far the other tires I am considering are the T1r and the kdw 2's. These will be in 255/35/18. Oh ya and I am coming from the grb fk451s. Again thanks for the help.

 

I have them on my SVT Focus and really like them. They stick extremely well (wet and dry) and are very quiet. The only think I dislike is the sidewall. It has so much "graphic stuff" imprinted on it that it almost looks like a mud tire.

Personally, I dont think they grip as well as the Bridgestone RE050A PP's on my S2000, but its an apples to oranges comparison between the two cars.

They are much better than th Michelin Pilot Sports I had previously on another FWD car. Those tires were on par for grip with the Bridgestones, but after 5000 miles they hummed so loud I couldnt hear the radio! Unacceptable for a high-end ultra performance tire.

 

hey thanks for the info, i am actually now thinking I may go to the re050a or the re01 too. So many tires too choose from..

 

Talk about apples to oranges...The Conti-2 is a very quiet, decent sport tire, but nothing like our stock tire, a RE01 will destroy both all day long in terms of performance.
