Default CR tire size or 225/255 ?

I have CR springs, shocks, sways...with AP2 v1 wheels...

Should I go with CR tire size 215/255 or one size up 225/255?

Going to get Dunlop Z1 Star Spec.

Tires are like shoes, some run bigger and smaller than others. The CR's 215 measures up like a lot of the 225's.

Not according to specs at www.tirerack.com...

8.3" section width, 7.4" tread width, middle of the road for 215/45, quite a bit narrower than most (all?) 225/45s.

You know, I think I was comparing it to the oem ap2 tires. I used tirerack too and remember them being quite wide, but I guess it must have been the oem potenza on the ap2 that run narrow

The AP2 has a narrow front tire and wider rear tire. The CR tires even though they seem wider are really not. If you want to go with the 225 front and 255 rear they would be fine. If I can help just let me know.

The equivalent would be the same size. The Dunlops are wider by a negligible amount (0.1") and lighter by a pound @ 215/45-17.
