Default Crazy Tire Rack

So I ordred a Set of wheels from Tire Rack (Greg - he's our wholesale rep).

And They came in today. Funny thing is we only got three in. I asked what happend to the other one? It seems if Tire rack does not Bundle them ALL together UPS can send it however they want. So they wanted to deliver 3 today, and the other will be here tomorrow.

And my Rear Hubrings will be here tomorrow as well.

At least they didn't decide to send me 1 wheel per day.

Not Bashing either Company (But my friend does work for Fed-Ex) but You'd think they would figure that out.

Nope. They put Cardboard on both sides of the rim, and use heavy strapping tape to hold the boards to the rim.. I purchased wheels and tires, Mounted and Balanced.

On a further update, I recieved my last wheel this afternoon. But Tire rack did not wrap this one like they did the others. The Finished side (The Side you see) was unprotected and it looks like UPS just didn't give a f*#k and scratched the piss out of my rim. We sent it back and Tire Rack is sending another one. Now I have to wait until Friday.....I'm more pissed at Tire rack for not packing them right, than I am UPS. I almost expect a shipper to not give a f*#k.

You'd think they next day it to us since they screwed up....

Fedex is actually even worst. We order sets of 4 wheels or tires everyday and at least once a week we get a partial shipment. Last week I order 4 michelins and 2 came in one day, 1 was delivered to another location "accidently", and the 4th came in the day after.

We package every wheel exactly the same. The packaging was ruined in transit and got to you without the packaging. It doesn't happen often but it does happen some times. I can guarantee that the package was protected when it left here. We can not bundle 4 wheels and tires together. The UPS guy can not lift them if they are all bundled together. We do ship everything out at the same time. Sometimes the packages do get split up intransit.
Did you ask to have the next one sent next day air?

Make sure that you're doing a 4 piece shipment with the shipment integrity program so they know to keep them together and it's 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4 and 4 of 4 on the tracking.

PM me if you need help, also I'll let your AE know that you're running into this.

Hey bro! If I had the choice - I would have it Fed-Ex. But Tire rack sends UPS.

I agree. UPS is horrible. When we order multiple PC parts such as monitors, etc. UPS always splits them up into multiple shipments when FedEx always delivers all packages same day.

Right now I have one bridgestone tire sitting in my recieving department and the attorney is waiting on the other 3. They are scheduled to arrive on Monday. Shipped UPS of course.
