So i'm new to this whole car scene thing, barely owning my S since March of this year (2017), and I was wondering if I could order custom wheels with the width and offset to my liking, or would i just have to take what enkei already has (looking at NT03s)?
and if i could order custom wheels, how could it be done?
specifically looking to rock 17x9.5 all around but with different offsets

You're going to need to be more specific. Do you want custom offsets on the RPF1s? Or do you just want any wheel with the offsets that you want? What offsets do you want?

There are companies that sell wheels in specific sizes that they offer. Volk, SSR, Advan, Enki all fall into this category.
There are companies who build modular multi-piece wheels and they can deliver a wheel in whatever size/offset/backspacing you want.

We need to know more about what you are looking for in order to set you on the right path.

 

I want to go 17x9.5 all around, however +45 up front and +38 in the rear, im looking for a little more 'poke' as they would say in the rear. Also, im looking at NT03s, not RPF1s

 

What tire size are you looking to run? Why are you after a different offset front to rear? Are you doing that for visual reasons?

I've played this game before, let me break it down.

You know you need a roll front and rear and a tab relocation. A mild flare wouldn't hurt you either. The 17x9.5 +38 is very aggressive in the rear. People are going to tell you it's not, but you're looking at 3.4/4 camber depending on tire size and ride height. To me that just wasn't worth it. The wheels in my picture, and all over in the build thread of my AP1 that I have linked in my signature were 8.5/9.5 +38 with a 215/245 tire. Take a look, that's going to give you a really good idea of how they fit in the rear.

I've moved to something new. 17x9.5 +47 all around with 255 RS3s. This fits incredibly well in the rear, almost a bit to conservative, but I have a very mild flare with gives me more room. The front when I put the wheels on was a bit to much, I didn't like how it fit as it visually looked off from the rear. To solve this I went with the Origin Fabrication offset ball join for the front upper control arm. This pulls the top of the wheel in about 7mm, and then you can dial the extra camber out with the OEM adjustment. This completely solved my problem, the wheels look like they were sized specifically for an S2000. I absolutely could not be happier. For what it's worth I'm running -2.8 camber all around now.

Based on that, I'm saying with a roll and a mild flare 9.5 +47 with a 255/40 RS3 AND the offset bushings is damn near perfect for the front. For the rear a 9.5 +47 with a 255/40 RS3 is maybe a hair conservative with fenders that are rolled with a very mild flare. A 9.5 +38 with a 255/40 RS3 is way to much unless you're running -4 camber, and that same size with a 245/40 can be pulled off with -3.4 or more.

I know that's a lot to process, but I hope it helps.

There are lots of pictures of the new wheels and suspension stuff on my Instagram as well. That should give you a good idea of the new sizings and how they fit on a stock bodied car.

 

Here is a quick before/after of the room the bushing gives you.

Keep in mind nothing was changed in between these two pictures other than the install of the bushing. It was to much camber afterwards which I had dialed out during an alignment.

Enkei won't let you order the NT03+M in custom fitments. The only 17" they offer is the 17x9.5 +38.

They do offer a new wheel called the NT03RR which is very similar in style to the NT03+M, and has a wide range of offsets available, though not your exact specifications, and only as wide as 9.0.

Yeah most wheel companies won't do just 1 set of custom offset wheels. Plenty out there that will like CCW, HRE, Fordgestar etc though they tend to cost more (sometimes a lot more).
