It is very difficult to get a wheel with a big lip on a S2000. With the high positive offset that is needed the lip just can't be that big. The best I will have is the new Speed Star Professor.
If I cna help let me know.

WELL i tryed to have a custom wheel made for me by avus it was going to be 19x10.5 in the rear with a 3.5 inch lip but is was not a success so hre made me the best possible configuration for what i was looking for 2.5 inch lip and 10.5 in the rear......YES the ssr has a big lip but your gonna run a small rear like 9 or 9.5 i rather HAVE a big rear tire with a ok lip than a huge lip and you drive behind the car and you see a small tire IMO.

+55 for the fronts is okay on an 8" width. The average s2k goes with 7.5" with +48.

You can increase your wheel size fitment by rolling/pulling your fenders, so they have more clearance. If you're picky about keeping your fender liners (splash guards), then this probably isn't for you.

You'll fit 18x8.0 +53 and 18x9 +68 easily. Depending on your tire sizes, these should fit 225/40 front and 255/35 rear. See if your custom wheel shop can make a deeper lip, but smaller offset disk for the face of the rim (effectively giving you the dished look). If you're interested in Work wheels, they can produce a wheel with a 2" lip front and back (54mm front and 55 rear). If you're willing to go the extra mile, you could lower the offset another 5mm and possibly roll your fenders if you needed to, but you'll get 59mm and 60mm lips for your car.

If you go with a custom wheel from Kinesis, Fikse, HRE, or IForged, you should be able to run 18x8.5F with +60-65 offset and 18x10R with +75 or greater offset. How much lip will depend on the wheel design you choose.

Yeah but then you'd have to consider a wider tire. Most people don't want to run that wide. I'm all for it, but tires get expensive. Stretch some tires and run lower offsets!!
