Default Damage by running AP2 wheels on an AP1?

Can i cause any damage by running stock AP2 wheels/rubber on an stock AP1?

The AP2 17" wheels are wider (i think?) than the AP1's 16"ers...The AP2 has a stronger diff.

Can i cause any damage to the rear end/tranny by running the bigger tires (AP2 17") with a larger contact patch that the stock AP1's 16" tires?

Just curious?

Do they bolt right up, no mods required?
Thanks,
-mark

Great, thanks guys.
So i don't have to change anything? No spacers or anything funny?
Are the stock 17's with rubber the same overall height as the AP1's 16's? Will it slightly throw my speedo off?
Thanks kindly,

Accelerating -> slower, (increases final drive and weight of the drivetrain)
Cornering -> Better grip (wider tires)
Top speed -> Slighter faster (Slightly larger wheel, lower final drive)

With the lower profile tire you are going to get a little quicker turn in response and better lateral stability.
