Default Damaged one of the tyres

I have a two month old S2k with 1750 miles on it. A nail went through the front passenger side tyre and repair shop people told me it is not fixable . If I replace
only that tyre with a new one will it have a bad impact on handling? Do I need to replace both front tyres? All 1750 miles were gently driven so the wear on tyres
must be minimal.

What is the thread depth of your "old" front tire compared to a brand new tire?

Even if there is some difference, on the front you're ok IMO.
Make sure it's the same brand/type/size/width, etc tire.
And keep the pressures correct.

Do as SpitfireS suggests and you'll be fine.

Thanks SpitfireS.
I am planning to replace the tyre with same brand/type/width and size
tyre.

Lucky it wasn't the rear. That could lead to a different problem with the car pulling to one side or the other in between shifts.
