So I call the tire shop that I've dealt with since I was a kid and ask them to order me a couple of OEM S02's, that I need for this weekend cause I'm going to the track. The guy calls me back to inform me that the S02 has been discontinued and replaced by the S03. He refuses to believe me when I say that the S03 is a replacement for the S02PP and that the OEM S02 is still being made! He tells me to call Bridgestone and let them know that they're still making S02's. So now I'm scrambling to find a tire shop that can get me a pair of tires by tomorrow. Man this sucks!

Yes, but I had to pay about $50 more than I normally do for a pair

 

Why didn't you call the Tire Rack? I have the tires in stock at 142.00 per tire for the rear and I wouldn't have told you it was discontinued.

Thanks for the response. I would definitely have called you guys but I needed them quick as I went to the racetrack last weekend. Usually I can call this shop up in the morning, tell them what I need, and they have it by the afternoon. They really disappointed me this time.
