Have you looked into BFGoodrich KDWS?? I've had them on my car, and they've been great all season tires, and still have plenty of grip, I even did very well with these in autocrossing so they're not to shaby, look them up.

viper thx man u always seem to help others and u know ur stuff
ya know i've been here 2 yrs and surprisingly it doesnt snow that much in annarbor. it usually snows less here than say boston or NH. which is not say much, lol
