Decided to try something...
So, I did something I thought I might regret, but wanted to try it anyway: I bought cheap tires. I usually run NT555's, but I wanted to see what these amazingly cheap tires I stumbled across were all about Tires.
I am shocked that they are not bad. I thought since I go through tires (rear) in 15k miles that it couldn't hurt, worse case I'm out 3xx.xx and wear em out/start over. Not the case. These things grip like crazy after you wear the release compound off. They feel greasy for about 500 miles and then suddenly you have a ton of grip (I don't drive 10/10 but I do drive 8-9/10 often on the mountain roads around here). I have another set of wheels/tires for autocross so these will be street driven 100 percent. I may keep buying them for DD tires if they last a while.
Running 235/40/18 F and 255/35 R.
Hard to beat for 336 bucks mounted. Thought I'd share.

I'll update again in 10k miles lol. For the price I just had to give them a chance, and so far I'm not disappointed at all.
