Just bought a new set of tires to replace the original on my 2002 S2000. I had asked before and decided, based on the driving I do and settled on the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position. The front and rear tires are the correct size, but have a question. Much more so in the rare, the rounded part of the tire does not meet the edge of the metal tire rim, but concaves in so there is a hollow like space with a sharp type edge between the rounded part and the metal rim. Not really noticeable, but my question is whether this is safe or not.
