drive on bent rim

Default drive on bent rim

i have a pretty bent rim i was wondering will it do any damage if i drive on it till i get my new rims?

depends on how bent.. any pictures..

if it is not leaking you should be fine fora little bit... and it wont be balanced.

well it is not visally very bent but i had it on balancer and its up down left right. whats the worst damage it can do?

The worst?
Suffer a total structural failure on the highway from some unseen stress crack(s) and kill you.


If it's just warped enough to be out of balance then probably just cause some increased wear on your wheel bearings.

i think you replaced the front steering knuckle which comes assemble with a seal hub

ive driven on bent rims before, but you have to make sure that there are no cracks. it wears out tires really fast though...

the tires are ready to be replace anyways. i just worried about wheel bearing.
