What a bargain for the performance. Anyone running these?

The Sport Z1 looks, from TR's test, to be on par with the RE010R and very close to the Yokohama AD07. Their cost is much less and with a wear rating of 200, they should last a bit longer. Perhaps they won't heat up as much as a 140 tire.

The issue comes to weight. The stock RE050 tire weighs 22 lbs. (f) and 26 lbs.

I just purchased a set for my new wheels (235/255), so I will post my feedback once my wheels actually come in and I get a few miles on them.

Excellent! I will be subscribing so I can see what yours and others think about this tire.

BTW, I was thinking about doing the 235's up front since I have a stiff FSB. What is your configuration of your car to handle the added width up front?

Thanks,

-Dave

NICE!! Thanks for sharing, and looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these tires. Especially if you can compare it to our S02 and the RE01R's... one can wish, right?
