Dunlop Direzza Z1
Update.
I haven't put a lot of miles on them so far, as I've only had them on the car 6 days, but so far I'm fairly happy with them. I've taken a couple of on/off ramps that I'm very familiar with and was able to induce understeer and oversteer with very predictable results. Tires showed excellent grip and I had no problem being able to feel when the tires were going to start slipping. Once it did, I was able to control the slide nicely and maintain slip angle and recover nicely. Steering response was direct and immediate.
Caveat, I'm moving from a 16" setup to a 17" setup, though I have ran the gamet of tires from Kuhmo MX's to Toyo RA-1's.

Voodoo, I currently have 225/255 configuration with my all season DD tires on OEM wheels. I would love to see some pics of these 235 's on the front OEM wheels. That is.. if you do have OEM wheels. I want the added width up front (as mentioned above that I have a stiff FSB), but not at the expense of having a pinched look to the tires.
I do know that 245's race rubber tends to wear out the plugs in the wheel well. Any evidence of this happening with the 235's?
Thanks again for being the guinea pig on this and sharing your results,
-Dave

Less weight "usually" means less material = soft sidewalls
