Estimated drop on this S2000
Greetings from Sweden again.
I've done my research and i totally know what i need in terms of rims and sizes etc.
The only thing i don't see is people telling how much they have dropped their cars.
I went through a whole thread on the Enkei RPF1's w/o finding anything in terms of drop.
This car in terms of drop I think is absolutely spot on. Not to high, not too low. Could maybe be a TAD higher.

My car is dropped (I BELIVE) about 1 inch. Or 25mm
I'm thinking of going 17x7.5 +45 in front with a 235/40 to get that bulky look that i like. And in the back i think maybe a 17x8 +45 with a 245/40, again, for that bulk look.
What do you guys think? Is it a stupid idea?

8"/9" is nice, keeping the 1" staggered performance of stock.
Not impossible but will require some compromise. Full fender roll, slight fender pull, -3 camber, and stretched tires would get the job done.
What are you trying to accomplish here? You already have a heavy set of replica wheels and 18" Rota would just be more of the same. I'd just stick with your current wheels if all you want is a nice looking set. If you really want a performance based setup, then get the RPF1 in the specs I listed. It's the best bang for the buck. Get the SBC color if you want a little flash.

Hehe sorry, my head is just spinning around in circles in this tire/wheel jungel. But i've made my decision. When i checked the weights out and realised i will save +- 40pounds on just the wheels, and 9-11 pounds on EACH wheel i changed my mind big time. I already thought about this before i got the car.
It will be 17"- 8"/9" 225/45/R17 - 245/40/R17 Enkei RPF1's Black with some Dunlop Direzza ZII tires. Will try to paint the sidewall of tire, the text white. See how that turns out

Get som drilled rotors, paint the calipers silver or gun metal grey(clean) and put some S2000 stickers on the front calipers. With this i will get some blue/red lug nuts to compliment it all. Will be getting a Q300 in the future with blue tips, so maybe blue lugnuts.
What do you think?

Thanks for all the help btw! I will show the results when its all done.
Photoshoped example!!!

That spoon car used to belong to a local member, until he sold it. Not sure if it's because his car is way more aggressive or what, but imho, the white lettering looks better on that car. Whatever works for you man!
Then again Sweden and the US have a bit of a difference in taste. But white lettering isnt common here either so =)
I'll think i'll try it out
