I'm buying an AP2 with V1's that look great...but have
a chance to buy some CR V3's!

Any opinions on whether this would help my '05 in
any performance category!

No, actually I think the V1 are lighter. I actually think they are the better looking ap2 wheels. V3 are hefty looking.

 

Yes I agree with you...I think the V1's look great whereas
the V2's to me are just?...too busy!
I like the tint of the CR V3's and think they'de very much
complement my silver AP2...but I've heard they are heavier.

I'll prolly keep the V1's...and would sure love to powder
coat them black..keep the lugs/caps chrome would be very nice!

 

My '06 car came with aftermarket wheels but was otherwise completely stock. I put APV2 wheels on it. I think the AP2V3 are the best looking though. Down the road the "proper" wheels may add value.
