Default exhaust

I want to replace the stock exhaust on my 04. I have removed the resonator and it is not loud enough for my taste. Any opinons on aftermarket systems would be appreciated. I am contemplating hks or invidia. I'm leaning towards invidia.

You got the wrong forum bro, you need to post it up in s2000 talk.

but i'll help you out,

invidia is extremely loud one of the loudest
HKS is not too loud

you can listen to the HKS at

www.hksusa.com

they have a clip of the s2000 there.

I have the Invidia on my '03.

ITS LOOOOOOUUUUUUDDDDDD.

I only drive the car approx 4K miles a year and on weekends, so I don't mind it. If I had to drive the car everday, forget it, the invidia would be off in a hearbeat.

It drones around 3300-4k RPM, right where you are when just cruising in traffic. With the top up its almost deafening and the radio gets drowned out unless the volume is way up.

I DO NOT HAVE THE SILENCERS IN. The invidia DOES come with silencers, so that could help a lot if you put them in.

Having said all of that. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE THING!!! It looks awesome, and sounds incredible when you hit 6K-9K!!! It has a nice deep raspy sound under 6k that DOES NOT sound like a fart can at all, so don't worry about that. Above 6K its a race car man. You will find yourself trying to drive in tunnels or under overpasses all the time.

If you don't drive the car every day, then i'd highly recommend the Invidia

I have the Invidia exhaust and I love it. I also have a hard top that pretty much stays on year round.

I had a buddy of mine drive it while I was driving his car and wow I never realized how loud that car really was heh.

Cool

HKS sounds nice but IMO Invidia is the way to go. You want loud....remove the silencers..pack them in and it's not too bad. Around 3k there is a deep dronning sound hit vtec and it sounds like an f1 racer.

I have about 6k on my invidia and I think the silencers are starting to wear out. Not too bad, it's just not as packed silent as it was new. Anyone know how to repack the silencers???

The third party says it sounds solid.. not like a strapped on coffee can.
