Default Fat guy with 18s

Let's say that I am a little larger than the average Ameican -

I have a chance to trade my 04 wheels and tires for a set of 18 Superleggera with s03s with a local guy

what will i gain / lose if i put 18s on my 04?

Thanks

Hey Steve,

I heard that local guy only accepts clean stock wheels for the swap Btw, can you call that local guy before you leave your office?

Superleggeras are very nice, I've been looking at them for a while now - pretty lightweight. Does this guy sell them outright too? Feel free to pm me.

I agree, those wheels are bitchingly hot. If I were him, I wouldn't think twice

Brand new tires? Taking advantage? As far as I know the local guy is a very stand up guy. I'd trade with him anytime!

Make sure the wheels are staggered and that the offsets are correct.

They are staggerred. 225 in the front and 255 in the back.

Correct offsets right from the OZ website and confirmed with the OZ technician. My memory is a little fuzzy, they are like 45mm front and 65mm rear. They are not like the Volks wheels, you know the ones with perfect S2000 offsets so the wheels are all tuck inside the fenders.

Nevertheness, there is no rubbing for my 02. You should be fine with the 04.

Take a good look at the wheels tonight. Mount them on your car. See how they look, keep them for a few days. No rush on giving your oem 17" to me. If you can do it Sunday. That's fine. If not. I wouldn't sweat it.

See you tonight
