Default Feedback for Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Just need feedback on the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. I will be using the following sizes:
225-40-18 and 255-35-18. The ES100 I have now are too dam loud.

Some of the best tires you can buy, and the price reflects that.

Thanx Aggie for the info. The funny thing is some people commented that the goodyears sucked but never gave a reason why?

I don't know yet. I just bought a set of them from tirerack but have not put them on yet.

I do know:

1) best rated tires at tirerack
2) won C&D tire shootout
3) won eurocar tire comparo, voted best overall tire and best wet tire.

^ I don't know specifically for the S2000, but overall I have heard mostly good things about them.

Awesome tires... I love them. I've heard that their overall grip isn't as good as say the KDW2s but for everyday driving they are awesome. Not noisy...and have the best wet weather grip rating.

Personally I haven't pushed these to the limits... I have yet to lose it (as in slide or oversteer) on these tires, and I'd say I've been driving pretty hard.

For everyday tires...they are probably the best. Besides...I love the tread design... its very simple (just a simple V patter) but aggressive. The KDW2s are very aggressive but in a different way...

Not on 18s. Love mine. The only other tire that is as good that I have used is a Toyo T1S.

I'm using them on 19" rims, 225/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. They run great and feel much better than the Nitto 555's I had before that got twitchy in the rain. The improved wet traction is perfect for me because I live in Hawaii and we've been getting rain out the a$$ over here.

The only size I don't think they are very good in is the 16". They do not make a 245/45R16 and the 225/50R16 is about 1/2" narrower than the OE tires. The 17" and 18" would be fine. They do offer better wet traction than the OE tires.
If I can help let me know.
