Fender Rolling
What is the widest 17 inch set up you can run for wheels and tires on an s2k without having to roll fenders? I cannot find this information anywhere. Everyone that has aftermarket wheels seems to have rolled their fenders. I do not want to learn to roll fenders on my s2000 for the first time and ruin them. So unless I can find a body shop to roll them for me, I'll have to jsut get the widest set up possible without rolling and rubbing!

This info is pretty readily available here on the forum but you aren’t quite asking the full question. Width and offset together are what determines if the wheels require a fender roll no width along. Also the front has less space so it also changes if you are wanting a squared or staggered setup.
That at being said generally 17x9 +63 is your answer that will provide the most wheel options. Volk used to make a 17x10 +70 that fit the rear without a fender roll but it doesn’t fit the front.
The one other variable is if you are lowered or not and how much if you are. If you are then the front becomes more of an issue the wider the wheel and tire you try to run I. Front. A 17x9+63 with a 255 can cause problems if you are lowered and the lower the higher chance that there will be problems.

Thanks for the response. I perused the wheel and tire fitment guide on this forum and tbh I understand the different dimensions of measurement used but I couldn't find anything saying what the widest and largest offset was that you can run without rolling.
I am not lowered and don't plan to anytime soon. I eventually plan to get Ohlins and will probably due a very conservative drop, nothing crazy. But If/when I do that I understand that rolling will likely be necessary.
My s2k is new to me (3 days now) so I am not sure if I want staggered or squared. I know for autox and track use, the squared set up would probably aid in grip the most, so I'd lean toward that. Honestly though, I will probably just start going to DE events and autox with the car completely stock and just learn how to drive it fast. It has michelin PSS's so it sticks pretty well.
