Default Fender Rolling Information

So for my new wheel and tire setup im going to need to roll the fenders which is fine with me as long as i can do it right... Unfortunatley there is no one proffesional in my area that does this. Yea there are some guys that have done some cars and they have come out good although they use just a heat gun and a rubber mallet. This kind of scares me. The roller looks like it works really well so i plan on renting one and taking my sweet old time to do this myself.. for the first time. I have a heat gun that puts out 1100 degrees so i think i am safe there. What i would really like to see is some pictures of the s2ks fenders after they are rolled, front and rear. Not so much the outside but the inside with the wheels off so i can totally understand what has to be done before doing this myself. I have watched numerous videos but none with the S2000. The rears i think i understand with cutting the tab about an inch or so back and tip tying it i guess am mainly concerend with the fronts.

Any info you can give would be great. Thanks!

I'm in the exact boat you are in. I want to see the tab relaxation with pics. I've watched it on YouTube but I want to see detailed pics as well. Someone will eventually do a write up I'm sure.

That's the easiest part of it all. All you're doing is drilling a new hole through the bumper and lip on the body of the car to move the tab backwards a few cm.

Most of the time, there is no need to relocate the fastener. The bumper will stay on just fine and most likely line up properly sans screw.

Hey, I don't know much about the front, like you are talking about, but I just bought a fender roller and I am about to do my fenders tomorrow, I will try and take as many pictures as possible to help you out! I will probably do a small write up with them too so I will let you know how everything works out!

i did my own fenders front and rear, you just have to be very patient with the heat gun, and just watch videos on how to use a fender roller, you'll get the hang of it once you understand how the roller works. but from my mistakes i have to say you should be really gentle and careful for the fronts because the metal is really soft. good luck! pm me if you need any help..
