Fender Rubbing
So i recently went for a wider front setup and the wheels seem to be rubbing the fenders slightly and caused the paint to crack. Im running 17x9 +29 offset with 235 tires. Car is dropped about 1.75-2 inches and the camber is maxed out at -2.3 degrees with toe and caster at oem specs. I dont really want to raise the car or increase the camber too much. Any suggestions?

The tire has nothing to do with it with this setup. The offset is to low. Even if he had a 215 it would rub under the right conditions due to the width and offset is way to aggressive.
But if the tire isnt as tall then there is less to come in contact with the fender. Its only a small gain for him but could be the reason that hes even able to drive on it at this point. Just by his blurb above it sounds liek the wheels are close to fitting if hes just rubbing. *waits for picture of the fenders falling into the grooves of the tire*
I have 17x9 +43 with a 245 and -2.5 front camber and my fronts are pulled. That barely fit. A 17x9 +29 does not fit and will rub even with the 235. The 235 is an odd tire size in that it is either slightly smaller than oem with the 235/40/17 or slightly taller than stock with the 235/45/17. Either way if the wheel was a offset that fit it wouldn't be rubbing. It is easily 11mm to aggressive especially for the front.
