Default First Tire Change - help!

Will be putting on 17 inch wheels this spring and need new tires to match. I've really liked the S02s that came on the car. What tires will perform at least as well or better in a 17" size on the street and fast mountain corners? Looking for max grip in the dry, not worried about wear. Thanks.

There's not much that will perform at least as well as the OEM's. If you're truely only worried about dry grip and not comfort, price or wear, get a set of R-Compounds. Toyo RA1s, Michelin Pilot Sport Cups or Yokohama A032R's.

There are some very good performance tires in the 17" for the car. You can look at the Bridgestone S03, BF Goodrick KD, Kumho Ecsta MX or the Michelin Pilot. These will be Max performance handling tires. You can see tire test and data on our web site on all of them. The best all around we have tested is the S03 but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you
