Default Fit? I need a definitive answer!

I would like to purchase these wheels for my stock ride height 2001 S2000. Will they fit? When I ask FIT, I mean will they interfere with suspension travel, rubbing, NOT stick out of wheel well? If they will stick out; how far?

We don't sell a 17X8.5 wheel but I would think the offset should be a little higher. The correct tire size would be 205/50R17 or 225/45R17 front and 245/40R17 rear.
Let me know if I can help.
Thank you

If I go with these wheels, Voxx FA 17x7.5 +45mm front, and 17x8.5 +45mm rear, will I have rubbing problems with either front or rear tires.

I was thinking about getting Yokohama A520 in 215/45/17 and 235/40/17.
Will this tire and wheels setup work without rubbing.

I know the car may become more tail happy. I can't imagine what that will be like because my car is already frieghteningly enthusiastic with "on-throttle" oversteer. As a side note this car is nowhere near as hunkered down as my '93 Porsche 968 was. Which is probably why I love the S2000 so much more.

Anyway, I got sidetracked there for a moment. Will this tire wheel package work without rubbing and damaging the wheel wells?

The tires will work on the car without rubbling. I can't tell you anything about the wheels, we do not carry them.
I would not recommend the A520 because they are extremely noisy. If I can help with a tire recommendation let me know.
Thank you

Alright I'm searching for viable wheel fitment options that will serve multiple purposes. I have stumbled across a line of wheels that offers a 17x7 and 18x8 fitment with +45mm for both. I'm thinking they will work. Any help on this issue?

sperry,

Why don't you click on the FAQ field on the top of your screen, then Wheels & Tires, Wheels - Offset. This is a recommended list of wheel sizes and offsets. You will also see in the Wheels & Tires, a Tire Sizes link. This gives you the diameter of the different tire sizes. You will want to stay as close as possible to the stock tire diameter to avoid any speedometer error and/or any unwanted gearing changes.

Hope that this helps.

Do you still have your stock wheels?

If so, I would be interested.

The 45mm offset wheel will work on the car. We have the SSR GT1 wheel in a 17X7 and 17X8 in the 45mm offset for the car.
You can do the 17" front and the 18" rear on the car. If I can help with the tires let me know.
Thank you

Sperry - without installing the wheel, it would be hard to tell if you'd clear the calipers... even if there is no rub on in fender lip or the suspension.
